My Books

My specialty is fantasy and sci-fi for middle-grade readers. I like exploring new worlds with mysteries and twists and action that gets your heart pounding.

Over the years, I’ve written more than twenty novels, but the three below are my very best.

Thunder, Thunder,

Hunt & Plunder

Recycled Paper

Tuck’s sword trembled as he held it out. “Stop where you are!” he warned. “I don’t want to hurt you …”

The sea monster’s mouth widened with a smile as if it understood. A noise gurgled at the back of its throat, and it mimicked Tuck’s words:

     “HURRRRT … YOUUUUUU …”

The creature’s voice was deep and shuddery, an evil, croaking sound that was never meant to be heard by human ears.

As the terrible sound faded, the creature paused—

     And lunged.

     “RUN!” Tuck shouted.

Great stories are like peanuts—they're crunchy, and they're delicious, and my brain can't stop cramming them into its cheeks.
